Bullcreek Leeming Scouts Fundraiser - Skyworks Australia Day 26 2012

Bullcreek Leeming has been invited by the Keep Australia Beautiful Council to help out at Skyworks 2012. We will be paid $50 per volunteer.

We will meet at 3pm and finish before the Skyshow (7.30pm)

The meeting place is at the Esplanade CNR Williams St and Mounts Bay Road. Best way in would be the train geting off at the Esplanade Station.
T-shirt and hat provided, need to bring snacks and water bottle.

Skyworks MAP KABC Note

Thursday 26 January 3pm – 7.30pm
Please have read the attached note from Keep Australia Beautiful (KABC) that summarises our task on Thursday. Also please familiarise yourself with the attached map.

Bullcreek Leeming volunteers should probably catch the train to the Esplanade station, to arrive before 3pm. The meeting place is the compound at the corner of Mount’s Bay Road and William Street (closest corner to the train station). I will be there with the caps, t-shirts and wrist bands. The wrist bands only grant access to the recycling area where we can store bags (not valuables) and refill water and grab a snack.
You will need to bring a water bottle, and extra snacks (in a day pack).
We will be handing out rubbish bags in teams with adults accompanying.
Extra family members can meet at some red shelters that we will erect adjacent to the recycling compound. We’ll have some scout banners as well. Extra family can meet volunteers at any time during the afternoon. It will be crowded but that’s half the fun!

This is the first year Bullcreek Leeming has participated in this fundraiser and something unplanned will surely arise!
Bullcreek Leeming will be paid for up to 40 volunteers.
Once we finish with the rubbish bags everyone is free to view the Skyworks and then catch the train home.
