Hello Everyone at Bullcreek Leeming

In response to the current COVID-19 pandemic this is what our Group will do.

Meetings will continue at the moment, current advice at Tuesday 11 am, but as always parents must choose whether to send their children to meetings.

These measures will be adopted at our meetings;

·       We will require all members to wash hands with soap and water on arrival to meetings;

·       We will stop hand shaking and other activities that result in physical hand contact between people;

·       We will increase the size of our horseshoe for parade and put a bit more space between the cubs/scouts whilst standing on parade + try to keep parade as brief as possible;

·       We will require that members wash hands after the meeting and after any games that involve shared materials (e.g. balls etc);

·       We will insist on the covering nose and mouth when coughing or sneezing

·       We will require joeys/cubs/scouts bring their own drink bottles and avoid using the communal drink fountain;

·       And of course, no one should attend if unwell in any way.

·       Consider equipping your child with a mini bottle of hand santitser.

 The following groups of people (whether they are members, supporters or family members) should not attend any form of Scouting:

·       anyone who has been in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19

·       anyone who has been overseas in the last 14 days

·       anyone who has a fever or shows any form of sickness or has symptoms of respiratory, gastrointestinal or flu-like illness.

Members who are vulnerable or at risk (which includes people aged over 65 or those with multiple medical conditions) should not attend Scouting events or meetings if at all possible.

Also if you or any close contact discover that they have come in touch with the virus please inform us so we may inform others form the group.

Scouts WA will advise on the continuation of any major events.

We are discussing alternatives to large meetings and we will keep everyone informed.
